| | | | Childhood is full of memories. For my part, I think about how my parents always hid Easter eggs somewhere in the house and that it was up to me and my brother to find them. Now, that I have kids of my own, I do the same thing! It's interesting how certain things are passed down from one generation to the next, both consciously and unconsciously.
Another strong childhood memory is when our parents read to us. I recall in particular how captivated I was by Astrid Lindgren's book, The Brothers Lionheart. Since that time, Lindgren's incredibly exciting story about courage, good vs. evil and sibling love influenced me in the way I think today. The fact that stories can have this kind of power is obviously nothing new, but it continues to fascinate me. That's why it gives me such joy to be part of everything that you create through Solentro.
